Extracting Prerequisite Relation between Concepts Using Network Education Resources (July 2020 - June 2022)

  • Research Assistant
  • Supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 61977021)
  • Completed code reproduction of related research; Designed a novel concept-prerequisite extracting method using Wikipedia and course introduction.
  • The accuracy of this model outperforms existing methods. Two papers were published in well-known journals in the field, respectively as the first author and the corresponding author.

Community resource integration application during the COVID-19 (Jan 2020 - April 2021)

  • Systems architect & Front-end developer
  • Software Innovation Research Center of Hubei University, Wuhan, China
  • Aimed at difficulties in community management during COVID-19.
  • Provided a developed an application that can be embedded in WeChat for community residents to assist each other.
  • The project won the first prize in the China Collegiate Computing Contest due to its high economic value and practicality and was approved for a software copyright.

Image Registration Method Based on Evolutionary Computation (Aug 2020 - Jan 2022)

  • Research Assistant
  • Supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 61772180)
  • Inspired by Chinese hybrid rice, proposed a new evolutionary algorithm and applied it to image registration.
  • Achieved faster convergence speed and greater robustness and published a paper as the second student author.
